How does VIB3S work at a sports event with spectators?

VIB3S is a shared mobility platform for events, with its own app and a web widget. It connects fans heading to your competition from the same area so they travel together and share the cost of the trip, there and back. You activate VIB3S across your channels (website, ticketing, email or social media) and get a dashboard showing your audience's areas of origin, route demand, arrival peaks, occupancy per vehicle and the CO₂ reduced from trips actually taken and validated by VIB3S.

How much does it cost to activate VIB3S at my sports event?

We combine a fixed fee (per event, annual or per competition season) with a revenue share on your fans' rides: 100% is yours until you recover what you paid in fees, then it splits 50/50 from there. So the more you activate VIB3S with your fans, the more chances you have to recover your investment and earn money, while we charge a static fee. For your fans, signing up and using VIB3S is always free.

Our event lasts a few hours and everyone arrives and leaves at once, does VIB3S help with that?

That's exactly where it shows most. At a spectator event the problem isn't the total size of the crowd, it's that it lands in two very narrow peaks: everyone coming in before the start and everyone leaving at the end. Every car that arrives full instead of carrying one person eases both peaks at once, because those same people leave together too. And with the return trip arranged beforehand, the exit stops being improvised at the gate.

Ours is a road race or trail event, with an early start before public transport is running. Does this still work?

It's the scenario it works best in. When the start is at an hour with no train or bus reaching it, a runner has two options: their own car, or whatever you charter. VIB3S adds a third: posting or booking a seat in the car of someone leaving their same city at that same hour. It doesn't replace your official transport, but it covers exactly the time window and the origins no scheduled line manages to serve, and at point-to-point races it also sorts the trip back from the finish.

Our final kick-off time is confirmed late and sometimes changes, how does that affect shared rides?

Rides are posted and adjusted inside the app, so a time change doesn't force your team to redo anything. On top of that, your event's official community in VIB3S is the channel to announce it: timings, last-minute changes, access information and arrival advice reach the people already planning their journey, which is exactly the audience a change hits hardest.

We already run shuttles and there's public transport nearby, does VIB3S replace them?

No, it's one more way to get there and it runs alongside them. Shared cars absorb part of the access demand, especially from people coming from areas no shuttle covers or at hours when public transport is no longer running. Your official setup carries less pressure and, if you charter shuttle buses, every shared car is one fewer seat you need to book. With the origin and arrival-peak data VIB3S provides, you can size it properly for the next edition instead of guessing.

What about the trip home, when the event ends late or runs long?

Fans arrange the journey there and back in the same app, with a seat booked in both directions, so getting home doesn't depend on finding a spare seat at the last minute. If the event runs long, driver and passengers coordinate through the VIB3S chat without your team stepping in. For people travelling from another city, having the return already sorted removes one of the most common worries when an event finishes late.

Our fans already organise themselves in supporter groups and WhatsApp chats, what does VIB3S add?

VIB3S turns that informal coordination into an official channel for the organiser. It's the same behaviour that already exists, but it happens somewhere open to any fan rather than only to whoever is in the right group, with profiles and ratings visible before booking, and with support and payments handled by us. Above all, you see how many are travelling together and from where: that visibility into origins and demand is what a private group will never give you.

Our event draws an audience from several cities for a single day, how does that help?

That's where the effect shows fastest. When the crowd converges from several cities, a lot of people are making exactly the same journey on the same day without knowing it: VIB3S groups them by area of origin so they share a car instead of duplicating trips. And because those journeys are recorded, afterwards you know which cities your audience really travelled from, something ticket sales alone won't tell you.

We change venue every edition, is it still useful?

Yes, and that's where the data is worth most. At a new venue you have no history of how the audience arrives or where it parks, so the areas of origin, the most requested routes and the arrival peaks VIB3S records become the basis for sizing access points and parking. We configure the event for each edition and activate the community, so you don't have to set anything up again when the city changes.

What does my team have to do to get this running?

An internal point of contact and access to the event's communication channels. VIB3S sets the event up on the platform, gives you dashboard access, activates and manages the community and handles the relationship with end users, support included. Your team doesn't run the platform day to day and needs no technical profile, and during the event it doesn't have to assign staff to answering questions about shared rides.

Can a sponsor be present in all of this?

Yes. Your event's community inside VIB3S is a channel of your own with the people actually travelling, and that space can be used for promotion and to give a sponsor visibility, backed by real usage data rather than impressions alone. It fits especially naturally with automotive, energy or mobility brands, which connect directly with the message of sharing a car to get to the event.

Is this only for people with a ticket or bib, or also for companions?

Also for companions and support crews, and a good share of the value sits there. At a match, a final or a race, each ticket or bib often drags along someone who drops them off, picks them up or follows them around, and that car takes up space and travels half empty too. Opening the community to companions multiplies how many people can share a ride, eases pressure on access points and widens the audience you reach through the official community.

Is the CO₂ you report an estimate?

No. VIB3S calculates the CO₂ reduced from trips actually taken and validated by VIB3S, not a theoretical estimate applied to your total attendance. That's why the figure holds up in front of a sponsor, a federation or inside your sustainability report: you know which journeys were shared, from which areas and at what occupancy. We don't promise a number upfront, we measure the one your event's real activity produces.
