- Ten hours of hard techno: the session ends at 6am on Sunday 29
- The BEC isn't in Bilbao itself but in Barakaldo, and at that hour public transport is on a night timetable or hasn't started yet
- Lots of people come from Santander, Vitoria, Donostia or Burgos: over an hour's drive home after a whole night
- If everyone drives their own car, that's more cars in the car park, more fuel and more people driving alone at dawn

Where is Blackworks Festival Bilbao 2026?
At Bizkaia Arena in the BEC! (Bilbao Exhibition Centre), Ronda de Azkue 1, 48902 Barakaldo (Bizkaia). Note that although it's billed as Bilbao, the venue is in Barakaldo, about 15 minutes' drive from central Bilbao.
When is it and what time does it start and finish?
Saturday 28 November 2026. Doors open at 8pm and the session ends at 6am on Sunday 29. Over-18s only.
How do I get to the BEC by public transport?
The most direct option is the metro: Ansio station (Metro Bilbao line 2) is right next to the BEC's north entrance. The nearest Renfe station is Barakaldo. By bus, Bizkaibus line 3136 (Bilbao – Cruces – Barakaldo) runs from Bilbao, and within Barakaldo there's the KBus town bus.
How do I get home from Blackworks Bilbao at 6am?
Metro Bilbao has generally run a night service on Saturday nights, but check that night's times on metrobilbao.eus before relying on it. Cercanías trains don't run overnight, so you'd have to wait for Sunday's first train. If you're coming from outside Bizkaia, the most comfortable option is a shared car: with VIB3S you agree on the ride home before you go in.
Is there parking at the BEC?
Yes. According to the BEC itself, the venue has a covered car park for around 4,000 vehicles. It's paid and conditions can vary by event, so check them before you go. There's more detail on our parking page.
